When producing organic cotton, manufacturers must meet social criteria based on the key standards of the International Labour Organisation. Raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products must meet strict standards regarding undesirable by-products remaining in the materials. All technical quality parameters during organic cotton production, i.e. resistance to friction, sweat, light, washing and stretch, must be met. All dyes and auxiliary substances must meet toxicity and biodegradability requirements. Manufacturers must have an appropriate environmental policy, including waste minimisation procedures

The fabric is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified and is the world's leading safety mark for textile products.
Products awarded this label are free from harmful substances that have a negative impact on human health, including pesticides, chlorophenols, formaldehyde, allergenic dyes, prohibited azo dyes and extractable heavy metals.
