During the production of organic cotton, producers must meet social criteria based on the International Labour Organisation's key standards. Raw materials, intermediates, final products must meet strict standards regarding undesirable by-products remaining in the materials. All technical quality parameters during the production of organic cotton, i.e. friction, perspiration, lightfastness, washability and stretchability, must be met. All dyes and auxiliary substances must meet toxicity and biodegradability requirements. Producers must have an appropriate environmental policy, including waste minimisation procedures
The knitwear is certified under STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.
Products awarded this mark are free from harmful substances having a negative impact on human health, including pesticides, chlorophenols, allergenic dyes, banned azo dyes and extractable heavy metals
