Privacy policy

The provision of personal data, as well as your consent to its processing, is voluntary. Any personal data you provide to us is processed only to the extent and for the purpose for which you have given your consent. Some data is necessary for processing your order however, in the event of not being able to process this necessary data, the order will not be fulfilled.

Please remember that you have the right to update or completely delete your personal data at any given time. You can do this yourself as well as with our assistance, which we will be glad to provide.

Our company follows strict data security policies. Your personal data is safe with us and we make every effort to increase this level year on year. We believe that familiarising yourself with our privacy policy will allow you to feel safe and enjoy your shopping experience on sthc.pl.

II. Personal data protection system

The ADO has applied technical and organisational measures to ensure protection of the processed data, in accordance with the requirements specified in the binding provisions on personal data protection. In particular, the following have been taken into account: the Regulation of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of 29 April 2004 on the documentation of personal data processing and technical and organisational conditions which should be met by devices and IT systems used for personal data processing (Journal of Laws No. 100, item 1024); the guidelines of the General Inspector of Personal Data Protection; the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

The most important elements of the data protection system used include:

SSL certificate, which guarantees that communication between your computer and sthc.pl is encrypted with a 256 bit key.

We collect and process only the necessary personal data and for the shortest possible time, and for every action not related to the execution of the purchase contract you must give your separate consent.

Access to your personal data is granted only to persons authorized and trained in the field of personal data protection, which guarantees its security.

The IT system of sthc.pl and internal procedures meet all standards of personal data protection.

The ADO has thus fulfilled all legally prescribed obligations in the area of personal data protection.

III. Personal data, purpose and duration of storage

A. Registration

During registration you are asked to provide data necessary to set up an account at sthc.pl, so that you do not have to waste time filling in the whole order form again with every subsequent purchase. By registering you save time and money, as registered customers participate in our loyalty programme and receive discounts for previous purchases.

A registered customer, after logging in, can also verify the status of the placed order and the history of purchases made. A registered and logged in customer may at any time independently correct, supplement or delete data completely from sthc.pl.

During registration we ask for:

name and surname - necessary for us to issue a sales document later and to address the shipment;

address (street, house number and/or number of house and premises, postal code and city) - necessary for us to address the shipment later;

e-mail - necessary for logging in and communication related to the use of sthc.pl;

telephone number - necessary in the case of choosing certain delivery methods (required by carriers)

Data is stored for a period of 5 years from the last login.

B. Placing an order

When placing an order, we ask you to provide us with the data necessary to process the order, which, in the case of registered and logged-in Customers, is partly automatically taken from the data provided during registration.

When placing an order, we ask you to provide:

name and surname or name of the company/institution - necessary to issue a sales document and address the shipment;

address (street, house number and/or house and premises number, postal code and city) - necessary for addressing the shipment;

e-mail - necessary for the communication related to the processing of the order;

telephone number - necessary if certain delivery methods are selected (required by carriers).

If, when placing an order, the Customer chooses delivery to an address other than the one indicated when registering or placing the order, please additionally provide:

name and surname or name of the company/institution, necessary for us to address the parcel;
address (street, house number and/or house and premises number, postal code and city) - necessary for us to address the shipment;
telephone number to the receiver of the shipment - necessary if certain delivery methods are selected (required by carriers).

If, when placing an order, the Customer chooses to issue a sales document for other data than that indicated when registering or placing the order, please additionally provide:

name and surname or name of the company/institution - necessary to issue a sales receipt;
address (street, house number and/or house and premises number, postal code and city) - necessary for issuing a sales receipt;
The data provided when placing an order is processed by sthc.pl and the following entities in the scope given below:

name and surname, address, telephone, e-mail indicated as the delivery address are forwarded to shipping companies in the form of a label / waybill which is at the same time the order of delivery of the shipment depending on the selected type of shipment are forwarded to :
Poczta Polska SA with registered office in Warsaw (KRS: 0000334972, NIP: 525-000-73-13)
InPost Sp. z o.o. with registered office in Cracow (KRS: 0000543759, NIP: 6793108059)

If payment is made by means of an external payment system, any data provided after navigating to the website of the payment operator remain registered exclusively in its database and are in no way accessible or stored by sthc.pl.

sthc.pl cooperates with the following payment operators:

PayPal Polska Sp. z o.o. with registered office in Warsaw (KRS: 0000289372 , NIP: 5252406419)
The data is stored for 5 years from the end of the calendar year following the year in which the sales document was issued, in accordance with applicable regulations governing the storage period of accounting documents.

C. Marketing

If you subscribe to the newsletter and agree to receive it in the process of registration or placing an order, we ask only to provide an e-mail address to which commercial information from sthc.pl will be sent, which you can unsubscribe at any time by logging into your account at sthc.pl or by clicking the unsubscribe link at the footer of each newsletter.

Your email address is transmitted and processed for the sole purpose of sending emails to:

D. Correspondence

In the event that you provide us with personal data which is not necessary for the performance of the contract or a legal obligation, e.g. in correspondence with us, in withdrawal, warranty or guarantee forms, these data will be deleted or anonymised immediately and will not be processed.

Please do not provide us with information or personal data which we do not explicitly request and which is not relevant for the performance of a contract or a legal obligation.


IV. Cookies - Your personal data which is automatically collected when you visit sthc.pl


Cookies (so-called "cookies") are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored in the terminal equipment of the Customer sthc.pl.

There are two main types of cookies used within sthc.pl: "session" (session cookies) and "permanent" (persistent cookies). (persistent cookies). Session" cookies are temporary files that are stored in the Client's terminal equipment until logging out, leaving the website or switching off the software (web browser). "Permanent" cookies are stored in the Client's terminal equipment for the time specified in the parameters of cookies or until they are deleted by the Client.

The following types of cookies are used within sthc.studii:

"necessary" cookies to enable the use of services available within sthc.pl; e.g. authentication cookies used for services that require authentication;
cookies used to ensure security, e.g. used to detect abuse of authentication within sthc.pl

"functional" cookies, which enable sthc.pl to "remember" the settings selected by the Customer and to personalize the sthc.pl interface;

A. sthc.pl (server)

The IT system used by sthc.pl automatically collects data related to the device you use to connect to sthc.pl in log files. This data is collected for statistical purposes only and relates to: device type, operating system, browser type, screen resolution, colour depth, IP address, ISP, and entry address to sthc.pl and is used solely for the purpose of optimising sthc.pl in order to provide you with the best possible user experience.

This data is never combined with the data provided in Part III and is only used for statistical analysis and system error correction mechanisms.

sthc.pl uses Shoplo sp.z.o.o. software with its registered office in Warsaw, 4c Inflancka Street, NIP: 5213630420. This company does not have direct access to personal data and does not process it in any way.

Data is processed for 24 months after the last activity.

B. sthc.pl (cookies)

sthc.pl uses "cookies" technology, which are text files placed on your device, to enable sthc.pl to recognise you and to adapt sthc.pl to your needs.

sthc.pl uses cookies to:

remembering to log in (session lasts 30 minutes from the last activity, after which the cookie is deleted);
storing the content of your shopping cart (session lasts 30 days from the last activity, after which the cookie is deleted)
remembering your viewing preferences on sthc.pl (session lasts 30 days from the last activity, after which the cookie is deleted);
compile statistics and viewing reports on the operation of sthc.pl; (session lasts 30 days from the last activity, after which the cookie is deleted);
personalize the appearance of sthc.pl by displaying products, which the shop's algorithm will indicate as interesting for you on the basis of the products you bought, put in the basket, searched for in the shop, as well as their authors, manufacturers, category - in a word, products similar to you, but never connected directly with your personal data. (The session lasts 30 days from the last activity, after which the cookie is deleted);

Google Analytics uses "cookie" technology, which are text files placed on your device, to help sthc.co.uk analyse the source of traffic and how visitors use it.

Google collects the data obtained by placing cookies on your device and uses this information to create reports and to provide other services related to the traffic and use of the Internet.

Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf.

This data is never combined with the data provided in Part III and only provides material for statistical analysis and system error correction mechanisms.

The data are processed for 12 months after the last activity, after which the cookie is deleted.

D. Google AdWords (cookies)

Google AdWords uses "cookie" technology, i.e. text files placed on your device, to enable sthc.pl to evaluate the correctness and effectiveness of the advertising activity conducted using AdWords networks.

Google collects the data obtained by placing cookies on your device and uses this information to create reports and to provide other services related to the traffic and use of the Internet.

Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf.

This data is never combined with the data provided in Part III and only provides material for statistical analysis and system error correction mechanisms.

E. Cookies originating from partners' servers

sthc.pl uses scripts and software elements supplied and located on the servers of its business partners. Such cookies may contain data necessary for the partner to deliver the service provided to sthc.pl or contain data other than that specified in the privacy policy.

sthc.pl selects its business partners very carefully, but is not responsible for their cookie policy. We therefore recommend that you verify each of our partners for yourself and decide for yourself whether you wish to accept their cookies.

sthc.pl uses the scripts of the following partners:

V. Security privacy policy of sthc.pl partners

sthc.pl selects its business partners very carefully and equally carefully verifies the placement of links to other websites on sthc.pl. However, sthc.pl is not responsible for the standard or privacy practices employed by the owners, operators or administrators of those sites. We therefore recommend that you review each of our partners for yourself and decide for yourself whether you wish to entrust them with your personal information.

VI. Transfer of your personal data

In specific situations in which the applicable law requires the Personal Data Administrator to provide collected data to state authorities, sthc.pl will provide such data.

With the exception of these situations, your personal data, to the extent permitted by law on the basis of separate entrustment agreements, shall be disclosed to specific entities solely and exclusively in connection with the necessity to implement contractual or legal obligations of the Personal Data Administrator. The categories of entities to which the data may be transferred include: advertising agencies, banks, accounting offices, IT service providers, courier companies, logistic companies, payment institutions, carriers.

In the case of such transfer, the Personal Data Administrator shall conclude appropriate entrustment agreements with these entities, which guarantee the highest standard of protection and maintenance of confidentiality and security of personal data, as well as their use solely for the purposes of fulfilling the contractual or legal obligation of the Personal Data Administrator.


VII. Change of sthc.pl privacy policy

sthc.pl reserves the right to change the privacy policy if it will be required by the applicable law, the technological conditions of sthc.pl operation will change or the change will introduce a standard higher than the minimum required by law.

Sthc.pl will notify you of such change by e-mail (to the e-mail address provided during registration).

VIII. Your rights

In accordance with the current legislation in relation to your personal data, you have the right to:

refuse or restrict the processing of your personal data;
to object to the processing of your personal data;
access to your personal data;
to rectify or erase your personal data;
to transfer your personal data;
withdraw consent to the processing of personal data;
lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority - the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.

These rights are non-transferable and cannot be restricted. We are always happy to provide you with assistance and information, and you can exercise some of the above-mentioned rights yourself.
