Lyocell is a 100% natural material that is derived from wood cellulose. It combines many properties: it is as soft as silk, as strong as polyester, as cool as linen, as warm as wool and as absorbent as cotton.The fibres absorb moisture and regulate temperature to an optimum degree, making lyocell suitable for all seasons and additionally very hardwearing. Thanks to its smooth fibre structure, it is suitable for sensitive skin. It naturally prevents the growth of bacteria. The perfect distribution of moisture in the fibres is responsible for this. As soon as moisture is created, it is transported directly from the skin into the fibre.
The fabric is certified to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® and is the world's leading textile safety mark. Products awarded this mark are free of harmful substances that have a negative impact on human health, including pesticides, chlorophenols, formaldehyde, allergenic dyes, banned azo dyes and extractable heavy metals.
